Hands-on History for the Entire Family
See exhibits that bring the American rural experience to life. Learn about our agrarian past and the history and life of 1840s America as you explore special exhibitions in the grand Main Barn.
The Fleischmanns Museum, located next to the Skene Memorial Library on Main Street, is open Saturdays May through October and offers a full history of the region. Fleischmanns has been a Catskill Mountain Resort town since the 19th century.
The museum is home to a working sawmill, gristmill and the John Hanford Farmstead. Visitors can tour historical exhibits, take a hike on the scenic trail or enjoy a picnic by the millpond. Special events are hosted all year long.

Open seasonally with guided tours every Saturday, the Hunting Tavern Museum is a newly restored tavern located on Route 28 in the town of Andes that houses a collection of antiques and artifacts. Andes was headquarters to the famous Anti-Rent Wars.
